Iyla was diagnosed with infantile spasms at just two weeks old. After having an MRI and several repeat EEGs we were told that she had a brain malformation on the right side of her brain. After getting the spasms under control we then found out iyla had symptomatic focal epilepsy. She is now 4 years old and also has developmental delay including not being about to walk unaided, but is such a determined little girl. Iyla is also on the waiting list for hemispherotomy surgery at GOSH. Her seizures can be so unpredictable and being able to have our Daisy Garland SATs monitor will give me that extra bit of reassurance at night time, rather than being up all hours watching and waiting for the next seizure to happen. I am so grateful! Thank you The Daisy Garland!"
