I have decided to run the Looe 10 Miler - Hellish and Hilly, this year for charity. The race is daunting and demanding, particularly for a non natural runner. The Daisy Garland have supported my nephew Gethin and family throughout his early years, providing help and advice and support with Gethin's ketogenic diet. Gethin continues to flourish as a lovely young man, and Daisy Garland have provided excellent support to his family.

The Daisy Garland is a charity working exclusively for children and families whose lives have been touched by drug-resistant epilepsy. Set up in 2004 in memory Daisy, The Daisy Garland provide positive support for some of the 18,000 children in the UK who suffer from drug-resistant epilepsy.

The Daisy Garland fund ketogenic dietitians and dietetic support workers, give grants for life-saving monitors, support parents through Daisy's round the clock support, offer vital one-to-one family support and award small, one-off grants for special needs equipment.

The Daisy Garland offer practical support for the ketogenic diet which has been devised to help manage difficult to control epilepsy. Gethin has thrived since he moved onto the ketogenic diet and I would like to support this charity that has offered so much support to many families.
