This year I have decided to 'go purple' for Epilepsy day, in recognition of the impact of my son's epilepsy in all areas of our family life.
I came across The Daisy Garland when researching night time monitors for my son, and would like to support their work this Purple Day.
Managing the impact of epilepsy 24/7 is exhausting, sleep deprivation magnifies this, sleep monitors mean that everyone in the house can have some rest, safe in the knowledge that they will be alerted to a seizure rather than having to stay awake worrying that they might miss a life threatening one.
If anyone wanted to acknowledge my first hair dye foray with a donation to The Daisy Garland, you will be supporting a great charity, and helping a family somewhere in the country to feel safe to get the rest and sleep they need. Thank you
