I’ll be running the Edinburgh Marathon in 6 months time on the 30th of May. If the marathon doesn't take place I'll be running a flatter marathon in Chester. To help motivate me through the training schedule I’ve decided to run the marathon to raise awareness for a really important and personal cause.

The Daisy Garland is a charity founded in remembrance of Daisy Garland who passed away from SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy) at the age of 6.   Since it's formation in 2004, The Daisy Garland has helped thousands of families coping with childhood epilepsy.

Epilepsy is a neurological condition where a person has a tendency to have seizures that start in the brain. It effects around 1 in 200 children in the UK.

My 8 year old nephew, Artie, has a rare form of epilepsy known as ESES.  He’s been in and out of hospital and throughout this time has received support from The Daisy Garland charity.

Any support you could provide would be really fantastic and would help me cross that finish line in May.
