Our son was under the Daisy Garland care for 2 years. For that, we will be forever thankful.
My son was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 2 with what felt like a lifetime battling through. It's heartbreaking to watch your child go through this and after reading Daisy's story it really touched home and we as a family who struggle day to day with this diagnosis cannot comprehend the heartache and outcome of your story, and this is why we choose The Daisy Garland as our fundraiser.

For many years, Daisy Garland has supported my wife's nephew and his family with his epilepsy going above and beyond so many times. Because of Daisy Garland's amazing support for Gethin, I want to raise money so they can continue their vital mission and help other families who desperately need it.
This wonderful charity has been such a source of inspiration and support for our family, since we first came across the ketogenic diet as a solution for our daughter's drug-resistant epilepsy. On seeing how effective it was, my father became a staunch supporter of their work. So when he passed away in July I decided it was time to set myself a challenge, both to help the Daisy Garland and to honour his memory. This one is for both of you!
I am running the 2024 London Marathon in memory of Teddy, my cousins gorgeous little boy who tragically passed away just 1 week after his 1st birthday. 2024 is the year which would mark Teddy's 10th birthday.Teddy experienced prolonged seizures and on 19th October 2015 he tragically suffered a complex seizure which resulted in a cardiac arrest.
